Blizzard Entertainment has released Diablo II 1.05b, a second update to the phenomenally popular role-playing/action hybrid Diablo II updated just earlier this week. The new version fixes a video driver crash encountered when displaying graphics in the Battle.net chat room, copy-protection for various CD, DVD and CD-R drives, a problem where character avatars were left in the list after that character had left a channel and several visual glitches with the character select screen. The patch, which includes all of the changes made in 1.05, is available both as a download and an auto-update by logging in to Battle.net.
