Morning tech news: Palm has refuted rumors that its looking to buy out rival Psion; Mazda will introduce build-to-order vehicles on its Web site; eBay says it will disable the feature that allows members to look up other members' email address; Bertelsmann AG, which last year struck an alliance with Napster, has hired former chief antitrust lawyer Joel Klein; Microsoft has been awarded $1.5 million in a piracy case, and, unrelated, Microsoft will soon launch a $3 million ad campaign for the PocketPC.
