A new Apple TIL describes a workaround for "an issue with the way that Final Cut Pro 1.2.1 recaptures clips that are in PAL format." Another describes a workaround for a known issue with the new version of the Sony DV media converter (the DVMC-DA2) with either iMovie 1.0.2 or Final Cut Pro 1.2.1, noting that you "may not be able to output video from the converter to camcorders or VCRs."
