Yesterday evening MacNN featured preannouncement
information regarding ATI's next-generation graphics chip, dubbed Radeon 256,
which the company officially
announced late last night. While an announcement regarding Mac availability of
the chip wasn't made, Mac users can expect the chip to hit the platform possibly
later this year. The chip is scheduled to ship for PCs late this summer.
