3D-Space VFS file system
Marc Moini has released , a new visually-oriented 3D file system for Mac OS X. It features interactive 3D drawers with enough docking space for many files and applications. It also includes an easy visual launcher, high-performance OpenGL-based graphics, large-capacity drawers, multiple window sizes, 3D viewpoint tracking, and minimal background CPU and screen space use. "What sets 3D-Space VFS apart from previous attempts is that it does not just try to slap a 3D representation onto the existing arrangement of files and folders. ...3D-Space VFS uses 3D to create large new spaces where you can see all your favorite items in one place, and easily pick the one you want." A free trial of the $30 utility is available for Mac OS X 10.2.
