The version includes dozens of new fixes, including huge performance performance gains, improved stability, an improved user interface, integration with the system spell-checker, better drag & drop support, improved printing, and more. The release also implements Opera's Extensible Rendering Architecture (ERA), better support for newsfeeds with automatic RSS news feed detection and reliability, and better security.
