The addition of iTMS Canada is well overdue. Everyone pointed to our domestic tarrif on CD-Rs and hard-disk-based MP3 players as being the culprit as compensation for the fact that music sharing is still amazingly legal in Canada, but the laws have not changed since the supreme court's March 2004 ruling about the legality of music sharing, and iTMS Canada will be launched before such introduction of legislation in Canada, so that could not have been the reason for the delay. You can guarantee that songs will be more than 99 cents, though! If they don't offer the same amount of R&B here, then I'll have to somehow fake a U.S. address to get what I want.

BTW, why is Germany the only selection that is written in its native language, whereas all the other stores are listed in English beside the shiny buttons? I had thought that iTMS Japan had already been launched, but I guess I somehow got ahead of myself. If they've had to wait this long, I guess our less-populated country could wait as long as it has.

It's finally going to be here. I complained to the CRIA about a lack of choice of services that supported the macintosh and pointed out that iTMS was already a runaway success when it was mac only in the US before they added the windows users.

Having lots of friends with computers and fast internet connection at work is much bigger store than iTunes store. And yes, it costs only as media, 1 USD per 4.3Gb, 40 albums or compilations each DVD, sorry to say the cost per 1 album - it's 2.5 cents. Artists already preselected by some people who you know and they download music you like, or you find in friend's iPod or computer some your well know artists. And it takes lots of time to listen that much music you like, you may get it all at almost no cost. I speak from electronic music listener point only, there is impossible to buy from iTunes Store a lot of music that i listen. From other point i support artists by visiting their live performances or dj sets in clubs, at bigger places, festivals - so i don't feel that bad... Thanks Apple that i can play any song at even mp3 format from iTunes, that was the really last most progressive move by Apple :-))) And really thanks for interface :-) Keep it updating! Make iTunes and iPhoto sharable over internet, passworded encrypted and very fast ;-) And well, the last wish: make all your products much cheaper - you'll strongly fight back other PC and like makers, to start with i would offer to buy all 1.8 inch and smaller size HD in market for 3 years :-) Prepaying month or 3, easy... :-)
