updated 01:41 pm EST, Thu January 25, 2001

IMG has posted a Q&A with ATI Technologies 3D Engineer Chris Bentley on the new drivers for the Radeon which are expected for release in the near future. According to Chris, the next major driver update will include support for Full Scene Anti-Aliasing support, Cube Mapping and Bump Mapping. In addition, tech demos will be made available to show off the card's advanced features.

    All in Wonder for Mac?

I used to watch TV on my 8500, but ever since I got a new G4, I have no way to do so. I neither have room or desire to have a TV, I want to watch on my Mac.

I am happy to hear of a driver update. My impression of the Radeon so far, is it is only a minor improvement over my old Orion. Good drivers would change that, I think.
