New Q3:A Patch Coming Soon

id Software's Robert Duffy updated his .plan noting that the company will soon be releasing a new point release for Quake III: Arena which addresses bugs and issues with the retail version of Quake III: Team Arena and the 1.27 point release. Among the new additions is the ability for mod makers to use content from other mods and an easier way to incorporate the new interface into their mods. The programmer also gives his endorsement for Q3 Gridiron, a "football with rocket launchers" mod for Quake III: Arena. "Q3GridIron ROCKS - We have been playing the heck out of this thing at the office. Hail Mary!"
