New ultra high-capacity iPod replacement battery

Newer Technology and Other World Computing today introduced an ultra high-capacity 2100mAh iPod replacement battery. The Lithium-Polymer (Li-Polymer) battery is compatible with all first- and second-generation iPod models. The 2100mAh iPod replacement battery uses the same high-quality Li-Polymer technology used by Apple to make the original iPod batteries. The NewerTech battery also comes with two non-scratching installation tools and a detailed instruction manual to guide users smoothly through the installation process. The companies say that the NewerTech battery is the "highest capacity iPod battery on the market and provides 70 percent more capacity than standard Apple stock batteries." It is available immediately for $40.

In addition, OWC and NewerTech announced a special promotion throughout the month of September where customers can get $10 off when they purchase the 2100mAh iPod replacement battery and the NewerTech RoadTrip! FM transmitter for the iPod together. To take advantage of the offer, simply enter the coupon code "HIGHROAD" during the online checkout procedure. The $20 RoadTrip! enables iPod-users to listen to their digital music collections via their car stereos.

when do we get 3G?

great. now just make one for the 3G iPods...since they were the ones that had bad batteries and the worst battery life of the iPod line. i am needing one soon and would much rather have a cheaper high capacity battery.
