This is the start of something really big. Hard drive based learning and a future broadband internet will allow distance learning to become a true alliterative to the current education systems of today. At the same time, server based stored multimedia educational content will have a huge impact on the very nature of education. The system of "educationism" that excludes most of the people around the world, will be replaced with a free and open transfer of information that offer opportunity for everyone that can get to a proper computer. On that note, the system will only be complete when computers are made accessible to everyone. Please see http://www.niitholeinthewall.com/ . Forward thinkers understand that most of the world population can not follow the industrialized economies in converting fossil fuel in to increased GDP and standard of living. We used the world resource (Green House Gases), and now to survive, we must transfer the knowledge we gained in the process to all people.
