GameSpy.com has published an in-depth look at the Quake III: Arena 1.27 point release and the possibilities it opens for mod teams specifically. The point release is currently available only as a beta for Mac users with a final non-debug release expected soon. GameSpy.com will publish part two of the feature tomorrow which talks with four mod teams to discover how the point release has affected their mods.
