Toshiba is now shipping samples of its new high-capacity 2.5" notebook drives, which are expected to begin shipping in quantity in March. The 15 and 30 GB drives are low-profile (9.5mm), run at 4200rpm, have an average seek time of 13ms, and are ATA-5 compliant, offering support for data transfer rates of 100MB per second, according to The Register.
