updated 11:24 am EST, Mon January 22, 2001

Informal Software has begun shipping enotate 1.2, a $70 software for sketching and "marking up" documents on handheld devices. This version adds support for Microsoft Excel and the Handspring Visor, full color support for the Palm IIIc, gray-scale support for the Palm Vx and m100, "slide show" support and control of "auto power off" in PowerPoint. The company plans to release a Macintosh version very soon.
