JAK Films uses Macintosh hardware and software for preplanning visual effects sequences in films. David Dozoretz explained this previsualization process to a keynote audience at the recent QuickTime Live conference. "The major advantage of pre-visualization is that it allows the filmmakers to direct the movie before we direct the movie."
