The free track is Hero. Check back every day for the next week for a new free song a day! Very cool.

I thought it was a free track a week for the next year. Now that would be cool. You know, post a free track of various artists, try to attract fans to music they may not be familiar with. h***, look how using songs in the iPod ads rocketed those things up to #1 on the charts (no offense, but never heard of Jet before the ad, and they're still in the top 20 or so on song and album downloads).
Of course, in this scenario, I would prefer if the songs weren't things like "William Hung strangles a cat - uh, I mean 'sings'" or selections from "Pull my Finger" (99 tracks for only $10).

Only Free for US

And of course [whine mode on] the free track is only for registered iTMS users. So Europeans (and Canadian I guess) are excluded. [/whine mode off]
Let's hope it'll arrive here soon in Europe...

You can also watch videos. I don't have cable TV, so I don't get to see music networks and even if I did, I wouldn't watch all thecrap that goes with it. So this is a cool new feature.
