Jobs to open NECC 2001 education conference

Apple CEO Steve Jobs has been confirmed as the opening keynote speaker for NECC 2001, June 25-27, in Chicago. The 22nd Annual National Educational Computing Conference (NECC) will "explore the opportunities and innovations of education in the 21st century," offering workshops, speakers, and networking forums for educators. Other speakers include Motorola Internet executive Janiece Webb (Tuesday); NASA Classroom of the Future's Hilarie Davis (Wednesday); and Teacher Educator and humorist Debbie Silver (Wednesday luncheon). Early registration for $100 ends March 30th.
