MovieWorks 5.0: multimedia creation suite

Earlier this month, Interactive Solutions began shipping MovieWorks 5.0, its $150 suite of multimedia application tools for building short- and medium-length movies, slideshows, and presentations. It offers AV and DV support; a mult-track, time-based sequence editor; and batch processing tools as well as support for QuickTime transitions, including unrendered dissolves/fades and scrolling text. A Deluxe version includes the ability to create linked "scenes," offers support for QuickTime VR, and includes royalty free video, graphics and other multimedia files. Upgrades are free for v4.7 users and are $40 (electronic) for other registered users. Trial versions are available online.
