iPods in Australia

Apple will expand in Australia , according to Digital Connect News: "From 1 April, iPods will be gradually rolled out and sold nationwide through Myer, Target, Megamart and Domayne stores. This greatly increases the retail presence of Apple’s star product, which was previously only available through Apple Centres and resellers, David Jones and the on-line Apple Store."

This is great news. I live in regional Australia where there is no Apple Store or reseller (or any Apple advertising). At least iPods in major department stores is a start.

yeh im glad that they've chosen to expand their presence in retail stores, but im not really suprised since they've hiked up marketing in aus. since late january, ipod ads are everywhere train stations, bus stops, on buses and the commercials on tv (especially on popular rated shows like American Idol). They've also been advertising alot at universities (mine UNSW).

From April 1? iPods have been in Target stores for at least a week now (and possibly more)
