    RIPE

A power supply swap is just RIPE to reduce G5 noise 10-15 decibels.

    still waiting

I'm still waiting for Apple to issue advice to windoze switchers as to how to lead healthier lives. You all should have seen the videos of the San Fran store opening. All these ex-windoze users were smoking and eating hamburgers. It made Apple look bad.

    Better house keeping

Uh, Just because it's called a "desktop" computer doesn't mean everything has to on top of your desk. Maybe get an Ipod to drown out the noise. :)

    i hate noise

I'm working in a room with a pismo laptop and a G4 cube.

    Not so fast.

    But DAMNED quiet.

When I turn on my G4 tower (sawtooth) it sounds like a vacuum cleaner. I'll put up with slower for quieter.

You are such a f****** idiot you make me laugh. How in the world do people smoking and eating hamburgers make Apple look bad? Apple has no control over people's lifestyles. Along the lines of your thinking maybe they shouldn't have opened a store in San Fransisco because then people would look down on Apple because they attract g** people. I sure hope no black people buy Apple products, that would be make Apple really look bad! (sarcasm)

    You flippin idiot
