PhotoSpin on new G4, iDVD: 'amazing tools'

updated 09:00 am EST, Thu January 18, 2001

PhotoSpin.com has written a favorable article regarding the 733 MHz Power Mac G4 and iDVD that says, "With these amazing tools at your disposal, a client can walk into your facility and go out with a finished DVD just a couple of hours later. And the cost to do all this is actually less than just that of a DVD burner up to this point."

Better yet, the client can just go and buy the computer him/herself and produce their own DVD's instead of hiring a separate company to do it.

    Of course...

Of course the client go produce their own DVD's. Forget the fact graphic designers, editors and videographers/filmmakers have vastly much more experience than their clients, and will generally produce a better result. $3500 does not immediately generate 4+ years of school plus real world experience. :)

    But of course

Wait, you mean I can't go out and buy Photoshop, illustrator, iDVD, Final Cut Pro and become a not it all in all of those products and charge mucho bucks for great works?!?

    Of course not.
Thats why my company hires a graphic artist to do it rather than having me their network guy do it for them.
No way no how could I do it as quickly as a pro in that area could.
