mig2go or whatever lost all credibility with me by saying that Microsoft's security has improved over the past ten months! HA what a joke. In no way is Microsoft breached less than the security certified forms of Linux (SUSE, RedHat). That is quite impossible my friends. If they are referring to "linux" as some "standard faceless OS" they are ignoring the fact that there are both extremely secure distros and homebrew versions. Putting "linux" all under one umbrella is bad journalism. That's like saying OS 9 and OS X are the same under the hood.

it may be secure, but that doesn't doesnt mean there are other ways to stop it if its used on a wensite. DDOS attacks can always bring it down, it doesnt discriminate against hardware or OS.
thats what the hackers will do to defeat it. theres always other methods to bring down a piece of equipment. It doesnt have to be compromised in the same way another piece is compromised to have the same end result.
For a report! Giving the current value of the dollar, thats what, 100,000 dollars! Now all these brits can come over to the us and by a mac for about the equivalent of £100! Guess I'll have to postpone my European vacation, thanks to GWB! ;)
