Griffin delays RadioSHARK orders until April
Griffin earlier this month also notified customers that it has canceled its iFM product for the iPod, originally announced in April of 2003. The device would haved brought FM radio capabilities to the iPod. The company said that production of the device was canceled because the iFM for the original iPod relied on the iPod's Wired Remote Control. This part is no longer available separately from Apple for the Original iPods. The company said that the iFM for the "3G" iPods was impossible due to technical changes in the new models.

Vaporware...
But we were both saw the same thing...
I almost bought it back then... I wonder if I would have gotten it at that price...
thier hardware is always top quality... always, but the people they hire to do theri driver code are not award winning experts with required experience. Besides thier time shifting stuff is just a ripoff of existing linux software, and the chip is a standard ship used in lots of EE senior project usb designs from a couple university web sites on the web. The hitch is the AM part. The AM part is the part i care about most and the part they probably will not get working well?
I would buy one... even at 70 dollars if it did AM well when positioned 7 or 8 feet from my computer... AND if the audio enterred the computer using usb packets and not an earphone port like lots of crappy Wintel designs did.
the guy that runs griffin is awesome, but he needs to be blessed with meeting up with some world class mac driver contractors for some of his ideas, otherwise he is held back.
This radio is definitely an astounding achievement but I predicted publicly that it would not ship within 6 months of its first ship date AND I WAS CORRECT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It is the ONLY reason i did no order one.
Get Audio Hijack Pro now, don't wait for this overpriced junk. Maybe Griffin is having problems writing the software, but Rogue Amoeba has already done it - www.rogueamoeba.com
