The amazing thing is that ever since I updated to the latest iPod software, my iPod continues to charge itself after I unplug it! After a full night of charging, it's only half charged. But if I unplug and start listening to music, within about 30 minutes it has charged itself to full! Apple should sell this technology and we can end our reliance on fossil fuels!
Ok, but seriously, Apple tinkers with the battery indicator EVERY time it updates the iPod's software. You'd think they'd get it right sooner or later. Well, actually they did. It worked perfectly...until I installed the last update!
... it's pretty good - and likely one reason Apple's addressing the issue. I love my iPod and use it just about every day, but they're way too expensive to just toss if the battery dies. Apple needs to work on making the replacement battery a little less expensive, too.
That went up after Apple announced their battery replacement services. Not only that http://www.ipodbattery.com has been providing iPod batteries for $59 for several months.
So no, it isn't pretty good. That guy is an a******.
