Scott Stevenson has updated his original Mac OS X Server v2.0 report from Macworld (originally posted to the Omnigroup mailing list): "I've incorporated all the information from my original post about OSX Server 2.0, added in answers to the questions that people sent me to ask the Apple reps, and tossed in some other stuff." [We first noted OS X Server 2.0 late last year and then noted its quiet update last week.]

will apple get scared
OS X Server 2 is shaping up to be what I've been looking for. My Linux box does it all but not without some sweat.
I'll finally be able to just do my work and not worry about the server.
My only concern is if Apple will chicken out and not include PHP, MySQL, Samba, etc. because they won't want to provide technical support. Users can easily get themselves into a jam when they go off on their own installing a newer version of PHP, it ends up breaking apache and they go running to Apple for support.
