Don't worry about apple spreading its disease to europe they can't even release an os upgrade without major problems. Must be a problem of compatablity ah wait could it be sloppy q & a? so it'll take about a year to clean up panther oh, just in time for.............apple should stick to design and leave the hardware and software to people that know q & a.
I was hoping oregon would remain safe too bad

Yeah, sure Bill. Thanks for joining the discussion boards with your armchair business skills. Oh, is there any other advice you can give us--you're so wealthy and smart, it would be a shame for you to waste your talents alone on that big company you run?

Please, come back to the comments postings, and give us more of your sage advice.

    Damn

The one weekend I am out of town this month they are opening the store....no T-shirt for me. But this is great news, should have lots of traffic, especially from out of staters that are tired of paying sales tax.

Hey, he got the QA part down. What's up with the peeling paint and poor wifi from TiBooks? And the bright spots on AlBooks? And the FW800 debacle? 10.2.8 eating network and 10.2.4 eating batteries?

You people are amazing. Obviously you have never been involved with complex manufacturing before. Name one Hi tech company that hasn't had QA issues of one sort or another. Yes, There are problems, take monitor issues; they are immediatly replacing the problem books. What is your issue? Windows has never corrupted a system? I am not saying that these things aren't problems, but why so freaking rabid? And what does this have to do with the fact we are getting an apple store in Portland?
