Klink! Software, creator of Tanks of Terror, has announced dimension3, a new 3D game development platform designed to be a rapid-application environment for Mac OS X. The game creation system, designed from the ground up for mod work, uses many standard APIs including OpenGL, OpenAL, Mozzila's JavaScript and OpenPlay/NetSprocket. The development kit is completely free for those who release freeware games while customers who use dimension3 to create commercial products must make arrangements with Klink! Software.
