A MacNN reader notes that Apple canceled its exhibits at of The American Society of Human Genetics (ASHG) in Los Angeles: "There is an empty gap in exhibitor row at the ASHG. The program addenum notes that Apple has canceled its exhibits in booths 703 and 705. As the doors opened, people were seen wandering to the empty area. Especially disheartened were a series of Spanish researchers who asked neighboring exhibitors where Apple had been moved. As nearly all genetics/molecular labs have Macs and interest in the G5 as a workstation has increased within the field, this seems like a [bad] move."

    way to go

No, it is "Publish Any Story To Decrease Apple Momentum Week"

This news item comes from an unnamed reader and zero details about what is actually going on.

The independant resellers "story" is the same whining that has been going on for a few years. What the independant resellers do not tell you is that Apple is tring to expand Apple marketshare whereas many of these independant resellers are willing to sell you a PC instead of a Mac.

    Wow!

What a stupendously STUPID move for Apple to make! With the VaTech G5 Supercomputer in the headlines recently, I can't believe they didn't show up to take advantage of this! They might have garnered more G5 supercluster coustomers. Sometimes I wonder what goes on at Apple HQ. Do they occasionally all take stupid pills or what?

    Wake up Steve!

    Why?

Can someone, anyone, just explain to us WHY Apple is so strangely behaving??? I just can't understand how they can affirm they want to go after the other 95% and then... s**** on education, research, resellers, an OS update, a firewire issue, etc.

    I know why

Because they're rich and you are nothing but a f*** in a windstorm.

    Understand?
