The Englewood School District in New Jersey has from kindergarten through fifth grade and will "deliver about 600 more computers - all paid for with federal grants totaling nearly $1 million - to classrooms for student use. Students from the D.A. Quarles Early Childhood Center, Cleveland School, and Lincoln Elementary School will be able to check out the computers - like library books - to use for class projects or homework. The laptops will be stowed in classrooms on rolling racks." [sign-up required]
