    A few days is long...?

The "security" issues reported recently on Jaguar are not easily remotely exploitable and for those with defaults installs they cannot be exploited. So it is not a critical patch for a vast majority of Mac OS X folks, it will be out soon.

This is far different then the security defects that recent worms have been using on Windows systems.

Damn, Apple releases a security update for the software they're most focused on at the moment, and you start jumping the gun not 4 hours later?

Wait a day or so. I'm sure your computer will not be exploited in that time.
