LaCie and Roxio today announced that they will bundle Toast 6 Titanium with the (FireWire-only version). "This is the first time this exclusive bundle is being offered at no additional charge," said Salem Tirane, LaCie product manager. LaCie's drive integrates 4x/2x/12x DVD+/-R and 16x10x32x CD-RW functions into a single "superdrive" mechanism with a 2MB buffer and a tray-loading mechanism. The bundle, expected later this month, will feature Toast 6 Titanium, Toast 5.2.2 lite, a FireWire cable and power adapter with pricing starting at $280.
