    red light runner caveat

please note that red light has been known to use massive buyout tactics to artificially inflate the price of some collectibles. case in point: their apple lionel trainset train car. a local reseller had twenty-five of them in stock, and selling for about $50 a piece. i came back a week later, and they were all gone, purchased by an "online retailer," is what the owner told me. three days later, they appeared on redlight for over $120 a piece. circumstantial evidence, yes. but i'm not stupid. it's very likely RLR bought out the only remaining stock of such a unique item, just so they could over-inflate its value.

there are other apple memorabilia vendors online (i won't mention them by name), but i highly recommend shopping around first.

    Prices

Yeah, their prices are outrageous. Go eBay, you'll probably get a better deal (and even eBay prices are inflated).

    random thoughts-

Could you imagine someone on eBay TRYING to sell a poster of a Dell or Compaq desktop?? Or old IBM or HP advertising posters? Just a testament to Apple's marketing as well as devoted fans..

    Why won't Apple Sell...

...logo merchandise in the Apple Stores? This has to be the stupidest marketing decision since not licensing MacOS for PCs.

Apple is missing a huge cash cow.
