Evening tech news: Microsoft said Wednesday that its MSN business will split into two units, an effort to streamline the long-struggling Web property; IBM is toying with notebook designs mimicking its famous Butterfly keyboard; Nokia launched new phone models yesterday, including a handset that will allow users to watch television, part of a drive to try to sustain market growth in 2004.
