Apple adds G4, other features to iBooks

The new 12- and 14-inch iBooks have been completely re-engineered based on the PowerPC G4 processor and DDR memory architecture providing improved speed, efficiency and overall system performance. It includes the ATI Mobility Radeon 9200 graphics with 32MB of dedicated DDR memory and AGP 4X as well as "up to six hours of battery life," according to Apple.
Each iBook now features the latest in wireless connectivity with support for AirPort Extreme, an option for an internal Bluetooth module, and USB 2.0 connectivity. The 12-inch iBook ($1,099) features a 800MHz G4 processor, 256MB DDR memory, and 30GB drive, while the 14-inch iBook is available in two models: either 933MHz G4 processor and 40GB drive for $1,299 or a 1.0GHz G4 processor and 60GB drive for $1,499.

The iBook is great. Yahoo! Its tough to beat this on price and have a better machine. Apple is doing very well in the portable market.

The eMacs are nice though. 1GHz G4 for $799...

Check on the apple store the sales terms, I think that if prices go down in a certain period of time for the same box you can get money back.
