ShaggyMac unveils new laptop screen protector
updated 07:20 pm EDT, Tue October 14, 2003
ShaggyMac.com today launched the . The MacSoft Cloth ($10) cushions a laptop's fragile screen when the lid is closed. This prevents the abrasive keyboard from making contact with the screen and causing permanent marks and scratches. To accommodate this wealth of different models, ShaggMac.com features the "Custom Shop," which allows customers to easily navigate and design their own build-to-order laptop screen protectors.

How quaint!

Neither the 12 or 17" aluminum PowerBooks have keyboards that touch their screens (I'm guessing the 15" is the same way). How far behind the times are these guys?

I use them faithfully. It is a matter of taking an extra step to protect. It can't hurt, but I guess you are so well off it doesn't even phase you.

Way better than OWC, Acme

ShaggyMac! PowerBook owners this is the one to get. The OWC and Acme Screen Protectors are gimicks they have smudged my screens. The ShaggyMac brand has surpased my expectations. The best feature: You can wipe your screen with it, yes it is that soft. ShaggyMac should develop more products, cause they know what is up.
Thanks

This is my second 12" Powerbook AL, the old one did suffer some permanent screen marks from traveling. Got the shaggymac for the new one and so far so good.
