    Mac version in 2004

    They release the pc version now, but the mac version will not be available until early 2004.

    Thats arrogant. I hope they loose all their market to After effects

    it's not arrogant dummy. if you read their press releases, they are waiting for the release of panther so that they can take the time to fully optimize it for panther and the g5. personally i'd rather wait an extra 4 months to get a fully optimized version than their half-assed version 2 that crashed so frequently.

    "combustion 3 for Windows is expected to ship in fall 2003, followed by combustion 3 for Macintosh in early 2004.  This split development strategy enables us to spend some more time working on the Macintosh release to ensure that combustion 3 is optimized for the G5 and will exploit all its power. Additionally, with the new Panther OS in development, we are tracking with Apple so that everything we do will be compatible. combustion 3 on the Mac will run on OS X only." - Bob Stockwell, Discreet.
