Quasar Technologies today announced version 1.2 of its cross media publishing system , which it says "addresses the current gaps between existing content management functionality and the industry's real needs. Version 1.2 offers additional functionalities and new modules such as a comprehensive flatplan tool that manages multiple publications and editions with automatic folio management and updating and an automated retro-planner that schedules and manages all types of events and tasks. It runs under Mac OS X.
