  • Mozilla.org has posted another release candidate of its next-generation open-source browser: ]

  • Arctic Software today introduced a new web-designer's tool for image gallery creation: Galleria 1.0 offers a simple interface, custom templates, thumbnail generation, and other advanced features. The $15 shareware runs on Mac OS 7/8/9/X. [Classic, OSX]

  • Fugu 1.1b is a graphical frontend to the commandline for SFTP, SSH tunneling, and SCP. The latest beta will sort files by clicking column headers, supports PageSpinner as a an external editor, supports OpenSSH 3.7.1p2, and has improvements to the backend. The freeware requires Mac OS X 10.2.3 or later. [724KB]

  • Objective Labs has's MailMergeApp 1.1 ($10) is an AppleScript Studio application with plugin support, which offer compatibility with any scriptable email program (currently supports Apple's Mail.app and BareBones' Mailsmith). This version also adds support for attachments and interface improvements. [104KB]

  • KisMAC 0.05f, an 802.11b wireless probe utility for Mac OS X puts your card into the monitor mode--without sending any probe requests. KisMAC supports third party PCMCIA cards with Orinoco and PrismII chipsets, as well as Cisco Aironet cards. It adds new capture filters, adds preliminary documentation, and supports GPSd. [3.8MB]

  • PowerCADD 6.02 updates the $800 CAD application with plugin support for Mac OS 9/X. This version fixes a few bugs (including text size issues), while version 6 brought new support for deep zooming, larger drawing sizes, live drawing, round pens, and Mac OS X. WildTools 7.05 also updates the suite of high-end CAD and illustration tools for PowerCADD. [PC, WT]

  • Dejal Simon 1.2.2 is the latest version of the site monitoring tool for Mac OS X that checks sites for changes or failures, and notifies you via e-mail, sound, speech, or other means.
