Apple is using "Chrome" as the new theme, so it will only be a matter of weeks before Dell comes out with "Mercury" or something like that. Microsoft will then follow with "Tin" for the Longhorn release in half a decade. Panther should be released in the next few days now that they got the new logo dialed in. The new logo was definitely worth the wait!

Hasn't everyone noticed that g** is now the "in" fashion? I just saw a comp-usa commercial where a g** host was helping a computer illiterate straight guy get the right hardware. Not to mention that you can't turn on the tube without seeing a show with one or more g** characters in it. g** is here to stay. Even Steve Jobs dresses kinda g** (hicky-hider, beard, short hair pushed forward). Heck, my local church has g** priests. Stone Age, Ice Age, g** age? It might be time for apple to retrieve the old "rainbow" logos out of the closet to get with the times.

That line will move up or down each quarter based on the percentage of sales for the desktop line vs. powerbook line.
