You sure it was not Apple's recent Java update?

    Apple or HTML?

Granted I didn't pay much attention as Idon't use Safari, or Bank of America, but was it ever determined if this was a HTML conformity, or a Safari problem?

    BofA

I sent a note asking them to fix their misdirected note about security certificates to not just blatantly tell people to download the latest IE and to just say "ensure that the latest version of your browser does not have this problem".

All they did was change the notice to say it doesn't affect Macs.

    People, email them about this!

    Still buggy in Seattle

My understanding of Bank of America's online banking is that each state has its own website, and while here in Washington it has always worked with Safari, it has many little annoying bugs that have never been fixed.

And yes I do have the JAVA update and 10.2.8.

Just after you login to your account, I see they still refer to a Mac as the acronym, MAC:

"Windows users of Microsoft Internet Explorer versions 4.x and some versions below 5.5 (This does not include MAC users)"

In other words, their IT dudes can't differentiate Apple computers from common network terminology.

    Safari

Methinks it's more a problem on Safari's side. It's still not displaying a number of websites correctly. Come on, Apple, release that improved version already!

I've been using it since Safari came out with no troubles.
