Sonnet is now shipping , its $80 CardBus adapter that provides 802.11g wireless networking fo PowerBooks. It installs into any CardBus slot and instantly adds wireless connectivity with data transfer speeds up to 54Mbps. The Aria extreme is compatible with Apple's AirPort Extreme Base and other 802.11g devices, and is also backwards-compatible with previous 802.11b Wi-Fi network devices. It supports both 64-bit and 128-bit WEP encryption, supports G3 PowerBooks with a CardBus slot and 15" PowerBook G4s, and requires Mac OS X 10.2.6 and AirPort 3.1.
