SmartDisk today introduced , a new line of high performance desktop hard drives with both USB and FireWire connectivity. With a 3.5" mechanism and capacities up to 250GB, CrossFire drives are "engineered to be sleek and stylish" and feature a high-performance 7200-RPM mechanism and fanless operation. The company said that will be available October 6 through retailers and distributors, as well as through the company's Web site.
