Scandanvian MUG 99mac.com has posted a gallery of in Paris, including sneak preview pictures of Apple's "well-guarded" booth: "We have images of the Apple booth, guarded by nine well-grown security guards. The booth has a traditional design with a lot of PowerMac G5, iMacs and eMacs. But there are one big exception from the traditional booth design. There are no portable computers in the booth and the walls are covered with huge black covers. This indicates that Apple will release new portable devices tomorrow. The next interesting thing is the big locked steel containers in the Apple booth. They are locked, guarded and we couldn't get inside the boxes, with shipping bills from Cupertino."

    New Powerbooks?

For those who have been waiting for the latest and greatest, it looks as though they may be smiling tomorrow.

    "they may be smiling tomorrow."

I doubt it. I don't doubt the new Powerbooks, I doubt the smiling. I'll bet that this board will be flooded with complaints that the new Powerbook is a slightly different shade of grey or some other such trivial nonsense. That or those actually believing that there will be G5 powerbooks tomorrow.
