Prosoft Engineering today released , an update to its popular emergency file recovery program. The free update includes support of long file names and re-designed algorithms make this version close to 300% faster than the previous version. The $90 utility runs on Mac OS X (as well as Mac OS 8/9 with its older Classic and Legacy applications). An optional emergency bootable CD is also available as well as a free evaluation version.
