Steinberg is now shipping , its cross-platform MIDI/audio workstation application for Mac OS X, offering a new VST audio engine with 32-bit floating point audio resolution, Freeze function for VSTi's, real multi-channel surround, Stacked Recording mode and a new user-configurable interface. The new VST audio engine features full latency compensation across all channels and complete multi-channel support as well as FX return channels and custom input/output objects. A full license is €700, while upgrades start at €170 for Cubase VST Score and €130 for Cubase SX 1.0 owners.
