Alaska's Denali Borough School District will offer a 12-inch PowerBook G4 to every high school student, according to the Fairbanks Daily News-Miner: "A total of 129 laptop computers are being prepared to hand over to high schoolers at Tri-Valley, Anderson and Cantwell schools." The "one-on-one" initiative offers a carry case for protection, wireless connectivity, and Microsoft software such as PowerPoint and Entourage to each student as well as training and support for students.
