NI FM 7 gains Mac OS X support

Native Instruments has released , which brings the company's FM synthesizer to Mac OS X and Pro Tools users on OS X. It fully supports AudioUnits, RTAS, VST, and standalone operation with CoreMIDI and CoreAudio. FM7 also offers distortion and filter operators, extensive modulation functions, a comprehensive effects section, and audio input. The FM7 1.1.1 update is available to all registered users as a $30 direct download ($50 on CD). The "FM7 Sounds Vol.1" preset collection, which adds 256 additional presets to the FM7, is available in a special package bundle with the update for $60 ($80 on CD).
