Excellent. The Richmond store opens tomorrow. That's only 90 miles away. I visit Charlotte all the time and previously would make stops at the Raleigh store on the way. Now all I need is a store in Norfolk and I'll be set.
It's so nice to live in the Megalopolis.
Umm.. you have your megalopolis confused. The only Apple Store currently in NC is located in DURHAM.. not Raleigh.
I heard from a salesperson at Circuit City in Hickory, NC that ground breaking has already taken place for an Apple Store on Startown Rd. in Hickory. I haven't been able to find any information anywhere to confirm this though.
f*** you, Charlotte!!
To the above post...
You need a swift kick in the head jack.
Um, I'm sorry, did someone say Hickory? Yeah right man, Apple would not put a store in Hickory. Do you know what the market share is for there, 3 people who are not hicks!
So where's the CLT store going. No way it's in Hickory. Maybe an Applebee's, not an Apple Store. I hope it's not South Park. Probably the right location, but too damn crowded to get to. Faster to mail order then get into South Park. What's the standard Apple Store size? Article says CLT store is 4,000 sq feet. Is that standard?
