Memorex debuts USB 2.0 ThumbDrive

Memorex has introduced its , featuring "the slimmest profile and sporting a unique, ergonomic silver and black design." The flash storage device offers 8MB/sec read and 5MB/sec write speeds via USB 2.0 connection, which it says is up to 50 percent faster than its competitors' models. It will be in stores this month for $60 (128MB), $100 (256MB), and $180 (512MB). A 1GB version will be available early next year, according to the company.
