'Love Bug'

A devastating VBS.LoveLetter.A virus that infects PCs and disables mail servers has made its way to the US after crippling a number of organizations in Europe and Asia late last night. The virus, which sends itself to everyone in a recipients address book with the subject "ILOVEYOU," does not affect Mac users but can disable the mail servers that they use. MacNN has received reports that government agencies, including the Pentagon, have shut down a number of mail servers to avoid this virus and expect other companies and organizations to follow suit. Network Associates has posted an update to protect PC users from the virus.
